What We Raise
Raised as naturally as possible with all the love and respect

American Wagyu Beef
What is American Wagyu you may ask? Well for starters 'wagyu" is a Japanese breed of cattle very well know for its exceptionally high marbling or fat content in its meat. American wagyu is a crossbreed between wagyu and another breed. We raise a combination of Holstein/angus/wagyu. You may ask how did we get into that? Well I love Holsteins and a desire to raise our own food. Our cows are raised on pasture, never confined and truly living there best life. They are grain and grass fed, always antibiotic and hormone free.

Pork
We raise duroc cross pigs and are working toward heritage Berkshire pigs. They are raised outside on the outskirts of our pastures and in the woods - never on concrete. While allowing them to dig and forage naturally they simultaneously clean up the underbrush that the cows wont eat. Its a win win for all. They are fed a non-GMO diet, always antibiotic and hormone free.

Chicken
We raise Cornish cross chickens seasonally (or when the grass grows). They are started inside with heat for about 3-4wks and then moved outside onto pasture for about 4-5wks. They are often out in the fields with the cows and moved daily onto fresh grass. They do a phenomenal job tearing up the cow pies and fertilizing our fields! They are fed a non-GMO diet, always antibiotic and hormone free.

Eggs
We raise a flock of all different breeds of chickens that lay all differnt colors of eggs. Our chickens are rasied with 24hr access to the outdoors. We use them in the spring/fall to clean up our gardens and in the summer scratch up cow pies. Our eggs are either sold unwashed or washed with just water. Always antibiotic and hormone free.
